NDEAM 2024
We honor those who have gone the extra mile in championing equitable opportunities and employment for individuals with disabilities.
NDEAM (National Disability Employment Awareness Month) is an annual observance in October that highlights the contributions of workers with disabilities and promotes inclusive employment practices. Established by the U.S. Department of Labor, NDEAM aims to educate about disability employment issues, reduce stigma, and encourage businesses to build more accessible and inclusive workplaces.
NDEAM aligns with MDI’s mission by raising awareness about the value of a diverse workforce, advocating for equal employment opportunities, and fostering an environment where people with disabilities are recognized for their skills and talents.
